National Firm

A large national firm engaged BHL to replace three legacy accounting systems and its in-house workflow system with the BHL Axiom integrated practice management and workflow system. The project covered over 350 users in eleven locations, and was required to go live within five months. The tight time frame was driven by the internal requirements of the firm.  Just prior to the commencement of the project, one key member of the firm's in-house IT team took long service leave overseas, another moved on, and a third was assigned to a finance project. Nevertheless, the project went live (on budget) after four months, much of which was devoted to the data conversion and initial data cleansing of the three legacy systems.  A number of subsequent sub-projects and further data cleansing requirements extended the project by a further four months.  The initial project also required BHL to connect the in-house document assembly system to Axiom, which was achieved in less than a week.  Two of  the internal IT team subsequently returned and connected the in-house web-based enquiry system to the Axiom practice management system, while BHL continued to develop its Workflow system to support the firm's complex and expanding litigation workflow requirements.  The experience, while challenging, gave the firm the potential for unprecedented productivity and control over risk management issues, while BHL gained the most sophisticated legal workflow system available in Australia today. 


Top-tier New Zealand Firm

One of New Zealand’s leading law firms running more than 200 Apple Macs commissioned BHL to replace a legacy accounting system and to develop a sophisticated collections workflow system to manage the firms own debtors.  The initial project and a number of subsequent projects for this firm have been completed on time and within budget, and the firm is a pleasure to deal with.


Adelaide Property Firm

A mid-tier firm acting for large property developer clients commissioned BHL to enhance the BHL Workflow system to manage the processing of conveyancing transactions on behalf of the firm's major clients. Later, BHL was engaged to replace the firm's legacy accounting system with BHL Axiom.  This is an unusual sequence as accounting systems are usually upgraded before workflow systems are implemented, but the reverse sequence is possible and can work well. Both projects were completed on time and within budget despite key people moving on between the projects.  More recently, the firm commissioned extensions to the BHL CRM system which have now become part of the core Insight product.


Melbourne Law Firm – Leading Financial Services

A mid-tier Melbourne law firm, with a very large mortgage practice, engaged BHL to replace its legacy accounting system and to automate its mortgage processing business.  Projects were completed on time and within budget and additional projects are now being evaluated.


Mid-tier Adelaide firm

A law firm, reputed to be one of the most profitable in Adelaide, commissioned BHL to replace its legacy accounting systems. Even before the accounting phase was completed the firm decided to move its entire operations to BHL Axiom, including Workflow, Document Assembly, Document/Email Management, and CRM, all of which was completed within twelve months of the original commission. Subsequently, a large reporting project was undertaken to provide more sophisticated individual, team based and firm-wide BHL Insight Dashboard reporting and Email Alerts.
